"We played rec volleyball in fall of 2025, and Josh was our coach. We immediately recognized that we were lucky to get such an excellent coach! He was fully invested in helping each and every girl develop their skills. He took time to video tape each girl so that they could visualize the feedback he was giving them. He was very encouraging, positive, and allowed the girls to have fun while also improving! My daughter had never played volleyball before this, and she was nailing her overhand serves by the end of the rec season! Having Josh as a coach was a great first experience for my daughter! We were super bummed when we didn't get him as a coach in the spring. He even volunteered extra time to hold clinics at CJV outside of the normal rec practices. These clinics really made a difference in their performance so I'm excited to see him offer them formally!"
